Gambaran Penyimpanan Sediaan Farmasi Pada Pedagang Besar Farmasi Di Kota Palembang
Abstract

ABSTRACT
Background: Errors in the storage process are still the biggest cause of damage to pharmaceutical preparations that can have an impact on patient safety. Before pharmaceutical preparations reach the patient's hands, it is necessary to have a health agency involved in distribution activities, namely Pharmacy Wholesalers (PBF). To ensure the safety, efficacy and quality of pharmaceutical preparations, PBF needs to implement storage operations which are included in one of the important aspects of the Guidelines for Good Drug Distribution Methods (CDOB).
Methods: This research is a non-experimental research with a descriptive design. Data collection was carried out in March-May 2021 at Pharmaceutical Wholesalers in Palembang City using data collection tools in the form of questionnaire sheets and checklists of observation sheets which were then analyzed descriptively based on CDOB guidelines, namely storage infrastructure, storage systems, and recording systems.
Results: The results showed that 99.4% of the storage infrastructure met the CDOB standard, 85.71% of the storage system complied with the CDOB standard, and 95.55% of the recording system complied with the CDOB.
Conclusion: From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of pharmaceutical preparation storage at Pharmacy Wholesalers in Palembang City is in the good category with a percentage of 92.17%.
