Uji Cemaran Mikroba Pada Kosmetik Eye Liner Dengan Metode Alt (Angka Lempeng Total)
Abstract
Latar Belakang : Untuk mengetahui angka lempeng total dalam sediaan eye liner yang telah dipakai berulang-ulang. Eye liner merupakan jenis kosmetik yang banyak digunakn dikalangan remaja dan dewasa. Sediaan kosmetik yang stabil adalah suatu sediaan yang masih berada dalam batas yang dapat diterima selama periode waktu penyimpanan dan penggunaan, yang sifat dan karakteristiknya sama dengan yang dimilikinya pada saat dibuat. Untuk mengetahui apakah sifat dan karakteristik eye liner masih dapat diterima, perlu dilakukan uji cemaran mikroba yang terdapat pada kosmetik eye liner dengan metode ALT (Angka Lempeng Total). Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian non eksperimental deskriptif dengan pengujian ALT (Angka Lempeng Total). Hasil : Pada hasil penelitian ini dapat diperoleh angka lempeng total yang tedapat dari nilai terkecil 0 Koloni/ml dan sampai terbesar 2,8 ͯ 103 koloni/ml . Kesimpulan : Sediaan eye liner yang telah dipakai berulang- ulang ada yang memenuhi persyaratan keamanan dan ada yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan keamanan.
Abstract
Background: To know the total number of plates in eye liner preparations that have been used repeatedly. Eye liner is a type of cosmetics that is widely used among adolescents and adults. A stable cosmetic preparation is a preparation that is still within acceptable limits during the period of storage and use, which is the same characteristics and characteristics as it had when it was made. To determine whether the properties and characteristics of the eye liner are still acceptable, it is necessary to test microbial contamination found in the eye liner cosmetics with the ALT method (Total Plate Number). Method: This type of research is descriptive non-experimental research with ALT testing (Total Plate Number). Results: In the results of this study can be obtained the total number of plates that are available from the smallest value of 0 Colonies / ml and up to the largest 2,8 ͯ 103 colonies / ml. Conclusion: Eye liner preparations that have been used repeatedly have met safety requirements and some do not meet safety requirements.
