Abstract

BPS data for 2025 shows; Hypertension (1,781,891 Cases) and Diabetes Mellitus (600,000 Cases) are the
diseases with the highest cases in 16 Regencies/Cities in South Sumatra Province. KJSU Case Data; 1) Colon
Cancer of 87.16% of 10,334 male participants aged ≥ 45 years; 2) Heart of 147.74% of 3,341 screening
participants aged ≥ 40 years; 3) Stroke Risk of 83.72% of 3,341 participants aged ≥ 40 years; 4) Uronephrology
of 3.14% of 3,341 aged ≥ 40 years. KJSU data recorded at Lalang Sembawa Village Health Post until April 2026
shows that sufferers; 1) Breast Cancer: 2 people, 2) Heart/Hypertension: 126 people, 3) Diabetes Mellitus: 38
people. Based on the KJSU Case Data above, promotive and preventive efforts were carried out through "Health
Counseling" and "Free Health Checks" in this Community Service activity. Based on the situation analysis,
problems were found; a) The low level of knowledge of the community and health cadres about Cancer,
Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and PTM Diet; b) The low level of knowledge of health cadres and health
center officers in implementing the change from Posyandu to ILP and the importance of "Free Health Checks" in
every routine Posyandu activity. With this activity, the results were obtained; 1) Increasing public knowledge
(health cadres) about Cancer, Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and PTM Diet, 2) Increasing the knowledge of
health cadres and community health center officers in implementing the change from Posyandu to ILP and the
importance of "Free Health Checks" in every routine Posyandu activity.
