HUBUNGAN IMT DAN ASUPAN CAIRAN TERHADAP KEBUGARAN JASMANI PRAJURIT TNI AU
Relationship between BMI and Fluid Intake on Physical Fitness of Indonesian Air Force Soldiers
Abstract
Kebugaran fisik prajurit adalah kemampuan untuk melaksanakan tugas militer secara efektif tanpa mengalami kelelahan berlebihan serta mampu pulih kembali dengan cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan indeks massa tubuh dan asupan cairan dari minum terhadap kebugaran fisik dengan rancangan penelitian cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah prajurit Angkatan Udara, dengan sampel adalah prajurit yang tinggal di mess sebanyak 32 orang laki-laki yang diambil secara simpel random. Pengukuran kebugaran fisik menggunakan skor sit-up, pull-up, push-up, shuttle-run dan run. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kebugaran fisik baik (rata-rata 46,54), asupan cairan cukup (rata-rata 2620,31 ml), dan nilai IMT rata-rata 26,01 adalah kelebihan berat badan. Terdapat hubungan negatif kebugaran fisik terhadap asupan cairan (r=-0,59) dan nilai IMT (r=-0,841). Semakin banyak asupan cairan dari air minum dan semakin tinggi nilai IMT akan berhubungan dengan tingkat kebugaran fisik prajurit.
