PENATALAKSANAAN GIGI LUKSASI EKSTRUSI PADA GIGI SULUNG – TINJAUAN PUSTAKA
Abstract
Cedera traumatik gigi (TDI) dan jaringan penyangga merupakan kasus yang sering terjadi pada anak-anak. Sekitar 30-40% anak-anak mengalami trauma pada gigi sulung dengan rentang usia 2 – 6 tahun. TDI pada gigi sulung merupakan ancaman besar bagi kesehatan karena dapat mengganggu fungsi bicara, pengunyahan, estetika, dan erupsi gigi tetap sehingga mengganggu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan gigi serta rahang. Luksasi ekstrusi merupakan salah satu trauma yang sering terjadi, dimana gigi lepas sebagian dari soketnya dan tampak memanjang. Oleh karena itu, penatalaksanaan gigi luksasi ekstrusi pada anak membutukan diagnosis yang tepat, rencana perawatan dan follow-up untuk mendapatkan hasil perawatan yang baik.
