Black Stain pada Pasien Anak (Literature Review)
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Black stain merupakan pigmentasi hitam yang terbentuk secara ekstrinsik, berupa titik atau garis yang muncul di sepertiga servikal dari permukaan bukal dan/atau lingual gigi. Pewarnaan pada gigi anak ini dapat menyebabkan penampilan klinis yang tidak estetik sehingga membuat anak tidak percaya diri dengan giginya saat tersenyum. Studi pada jurnal ini merupakan tinjauan pustaka (literature review) dengan analisis kualitatif. Literatur ini bersumber dari dua basis data jurnal PubMed dan Google Scholar. Pencarian literatur dilakukan dengan menggunakan kata kunci “black stain”, "primary teeth”, “children” dan “tooth staining”. Black stain sulit dihilangkan bila hanya dengan menyikat gigi sehingga menyebabkan orangtua khawatir dengan noda pada gigi anaknya dan cenderung menyikat gigi anaknya terlalu kuat agar nodanya hilang. Orangtua harus mengetahui apa itu black stain, faktor yang menyebabkan terjadi black stain serta perawatan yang dibutuhkan.
