Efek Isoflavon Kedelai (Glycine Max) Terhadap Kadar Testosteron Dan Berat Vesikula Seminalis Tikus Jantan Sprague Dawley

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh isoflavon terhadap kadar hormon testosteron dan  berat vesikula seminalis pada tikus jantan Sprague dawley. Studi eksperimental in vivo ini menggunakan rancangan post-test only group design. Sampel terdiri dari 24 ekor tikus yang dibagi ke dalam 4 kelompok yaitu kelompok 1 (kontrol), kelompok 2, 3 dan kelompok 4. Kelompok perlakuan diberikan isoflavon dengan dosis masing-masing 2,52 mg, 3,78mg dan 5,04mg diberikan peroral selama 48 hari. Kemudian tikus diambil darah dan vesikula seminalisnya. Dilanjutkan dengan pengukuran kadar hormone testosterone dan berat vesikula seminalis. Analisa dilakukan dengan One Way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Multiple Comparison jenis Bonferroni. Semua analisa menggunakan SPSS versi 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil uji Post Hoc Bonferroni antara kontrol negatif dan kelompok 2 dosis isoflavon 2,52 mg dengan nilai p=0,631 untuk kadar testosteron dan p=0,873 untuk berat vesikula seminalis berarti pada dosis ini belum menunjukkan penurunan kadar hormon testosteron dan berat vesikula seminalis. Antara kontrol negatif dan kelompok 3 dosis isoflavon dengan nilai p=0,01 untuk kadar testosteron dan p0,05 untuk berat vesikula seminalis berarti telah menunjukkan penurunan yang signifikan. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pemberian isoflavon kedelai terhadap kadar hormon testosteron dan berat vesikula seminalis tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus).
