Uji Aktivitas Antibakteri Senyawa Flavonoid Daun Bugenvil (Bougainvillea glabra Choicy) Terhadap Bakteri Escherichia coli

Flavonoidtelah menarik perhatian para ilmuan karena memberilam berbagai manfaat, diantaranya sehag4i antibaktert. Daun buge,rvif (Bougainvillea glabra Chcicy) mengandung senyawa flavonoid, tumbuhan ini secara tradisional digunakan untuk mengobati pmyakit diare. Saleh' satu baksen penyebab penyaku diare adalah bakteri Escherichia coli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenguji aktivitas annbakteri senyawa flavonoid daun bugenvil (Bougainvillea glabra Choicy) terhadap bakteri&cherichia coli. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bukti ilmiah tentang aktivitas amibakteri senyawaflavonoid dari daun bugenvil (Bougainvillea glabra Choicy) terhadap Escherichia coli. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan mengekstraksi 1 kg daun bugenvil (Bougai11villeaglabra Choicy) de11ga11pelarut etanol 96% secara maserasi, kemudian ekstrak: kental difraksinasi menggunakan pelana n-heksan. etil asetat; dan air. '.nap fraks: diuji kandungan flavonoid menggunakan methanol panas, HCl pekat.dan logam Mg. Terhadapfraksi yang positlf mengadung jlavonoid di/akukan isolosi senyawajlavo,widmela/uikromatografi kolom dan Tcromatogra.filapis tipts menggunakan fase diam sililcll gel F,,, danJasegemk n-butanol : asam asetat : air (4: l :5), selanjumya isolat flavonoid diiyi aktmtas antibakterinya terlradap bakteri Escherichia coli dengan metode difasi agar. Data yang dikumpulkan didapatkan dari pengukuran diameter hambat senyawa flavonoid hasil isolasi dari daun bugenvil, data. ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fraksi yang positif mengandung flavonoid adalah fraksi air, dari fraksi airdidapatkan 6frabiyangmengandungflavonoid dengan harga Rf berturut-turut adalaJi 0,48; 0,50; 0,51; 0,52; 0,53; dan 0,54. Masing-masing fraksiyang mengandung senyawa flavonoid diuji aktivitas antibakterinya terhadap pertumbuhan. bakieri Escherichia coli dan memiliki diameter hambat sebesar 10,5 mm; 11,l mm; 11,15 mm; dan ll,65. Isolat daun bugenvil (Bougaim,illeaglabra Choicy) yang mengandung flavonoid berupa subu/c yang berwama lcuning muda sampai laming tua dan memilik! aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli
