Pengaruh Metode Ekstraksi Maserasi Dan Refluks Terhadap Parameter Standardisasi Mutu Ekstrak Daun Kelengkeng (Dimocarpus longan L.)
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Daun kelengkeng (Dimocarpus longan L.) telah teridentifikasi sebagai salah satu tanaman yang berpotensi digunakan sebagai bahan baku dalam pengembangan obat tradisional. Proses ekstraksi yang dilakukan secara terstandar berperan penting dalam menghasilkan ekstrak yang berkualitas. Untuk memastikan mutu ekstrak yang diperoleh, peneliti melakukan pengujian terhadap parameter standardisasi, baik spesifik maupun non spesifik, pada ekstrak etanol daun kelengkeng (Dimocarpus longan L.) yang diperoleh melalui metode maserasi dan refluks. Upaya ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan ekstrak yang memenuhi kriteria mutu yang ditetapkan.
Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan analisis secara deskriptif, yaitu pengujian pengaruh metode ekstraksi maserasi dan refluks terhadap standardisasi mutu ekstrak daun kelengkeng (Dimocarpus longan L.). Pengujian mutu meliputi pengujian parameter spesifik dan non spesifik.
Hasil: Pada pengujian parameter mutu ekstrak maserasi daun kelengkeng kadar sari larut air 16,54%, kadar sari larut etanol 24,87%, bobot jenis 1,0075 g, kadar air 35,06%, kadar abu total 96,33%, kadar cemaran mikroba 370/gram, dan cemaran logam Pb 0,0969 mg/kg. Pada ekstrak refluks daun kelengkeng kadar sari larut air 19,06%, kadar sari larut etanol 35,31%, bobot jenis 1,0109 g, kadar air 24,24%, kadar abu total 95,53%, kadar cemaran mikroba 0/gram, dan cemaran logam Pb 0,0868 mg/kg.
Kesimpulan: Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa mutu ekstrak refluks daun kelengkeng (Dimocarpus longan L.) lebih baik dibandingkan ekstrak maserasi daun kelengkeng (Dimocarpus longan L.).
