Penerapan Metode Swaddling Untuk Meminimalkan Nyeri Pada Neonatus dengan Asfiksia Selama Pemasangan infus
Abstract
Latar Belakang : Asfiksia Neonatorum adalah keadaan gawat bayi yang tidak dapat bernapas spontan, sehingga dapat menurunkan kadar oksigen dan merupakan kasus terbanyak kedua di Ruangan Melati RSUD Dr Sobirin Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Bayi dengan Asfiksia memerlukan perawatan khusus, sehingga akan menempatkan bayi pada posisi harus mendapatkan tindakan yang banyak menimbulkan stres dan menyakitkan seperti pemasangan infus. Nyeri yang terjadi pada periode kritis bayi menyebabkan stres akut dan mengakibatkan komplikasi jangka pendek dan panjang, sehingga diperlukan tindakan nonfarmakologis untuk meminimalkan nyeri yaitu dengan metode swaddling. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah menerapkan intervensi keperawatan metode swaddling pada neonatus dengan asfiksia untuk meminimalkan nyeri selama pemasangan infus. Metode : Metode penelitian adalah studi kasus dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 2 orang bayi, dengan kriteria inklusi asfiksia neonatorum ringan-sedang dan akan dilakukan pemasangan infus. Penerapan metode swaddling dengan menggunakan bedong bayi. Nyeri diukur dengan menggunakan skala NIPS. Hasil : Hasil yang diperoleh pada subjek pertama dengan kategori skala nyeri ringan (2), dan subjek kedua dengan kategori skala nyeri ringan (2). Kesimpulan : Penerapan metode swaddling dapat dijadikan sebagai bagian dari asuhan perkembangan pada bayi selama prosedur invasif
