Penurunan Hot Flashes Pada Masa Menopause Dengan Senam Lansia
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang : Wanita pada masa menopause akan mengalami penurunan hormon estrogen dan hormon progestreon. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan beberapa gejala yang umum terjadi yaitu hot flashes (rasa panas dari wajah hingga dada) berkeringat dimalam hari. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penurunan hot flashes terhadap senam lansia pada masa menopause Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain pra-experimental One (Group Pre-Post Test Design). Populasi penelitian ini semua pasien yang mengalami hot flashes. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien penurunan hot flashes sebanyak 15 orang. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah dan selanjutnya dilakukan analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji uji non paramentrik wicoxon. Hasil Penelitian: didapatkan tingkat penurunan hot flashes sebelum pemberian senam lansia berada pada kriteria kurang 12 orang (70 %) dan setelah senam lansia berada pada kriteria baik sebanyak 13 responden (70 %). Hasil uji statistik didapatkan ada pengaruh pemberian senam lansia terhadap penurunan hot flashes pada masa menopause dengan nilai p.value = 0,000 < 0,05). Kesimpulan: senam lansia berpengaruh terhadap penurunan hot flashes pada masa menopause. Saran : Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan sebagai evidence bagi kajian atau penelitian yang berhubungan dengan masalah hot flashes
