HUBUNGAN KECACINGAN Enterobius Vermicularis DENGAN PERSONAL HYGIENE ANAK SD USIA 7-10 TAHUN
Abstract
Infeksi Enterobius vermicularis tetap menjadi masalah kesehatan signifikan pada anak sekolah dasar, khususnya terkait praktik kebersihan diri. Penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan hubungan antara personal hygiene dan kejadian infeksi pada 23 anak usia 7-10 tahun di SDN Bugul Kidul 1 Pasuruan melalui metode total sampling. Pengumpulan data melibatkan pemeriksaan swab perianal untuk deteksi telur cacing dan kuesioner kebiasaan kebersihan. Hasil menunjukkan 21,7% (5 anak) terinfeksi, sedangkan 78,3% (18 anak) bebas infeksi. Analisis korelasi Pearson mengungkap hubungan signifikan antara cuci tangan sebelum makan (p=0,001) serta cuci tangan pakai sabun-air bersih (p=0,035) dengan infeksi. Namun, kebiasaan tidak beralas kaki (p=0,708) dan potong kuku mingguan (p=0,350) tidak berhubungan signifikan. Disimpulkan bahwa praktik higiene personal yang baik menurunkan risiko infeksi, sehingga edukasi berkelanjutan bagi anak dan orang tua diperlukan untuk pencegahan.
